Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a towbar fitting take?

On average a towbar fitting, complete with the electrics can take 3-4 hours. Every vehicle is different and varies depending on which towbar option has been chosen.

What is the difference between fixed and detachable?

A fixed towbar is permanently fixed to your vehicle, they are also the most cost effective option.

A detachable towbar allows you to remove the towball and neck to keep a clean look at the back of your vehicle and get it out the way.

Both options are vehice type approved, it is more a personal preference which one to opt for.

Where do you offer fittings from?

Our fitting location is at our Kent Towing Solutions site in Fostal Farm, TN3 8AG. This is just off the A21 and easily accessible for the surrounding areas.
